I checked into the constituents of some of the herbs you mentioned. I am still

trying to figure out the effect on polysaccharides in an alcohol tincture. But

here are the ones I know to be illegal for the SCD.

Dandelion root: 12% pectin, 30% inulin

wild yam: 15% mucilage

It looks like most all roots have mucilaginous compounds, even Echinacea root is

17% inulin, so I am not sure why it is legal. I am still trying to figure all of

this out.

If you have questions on another herb, I'll try to help.

Blessing for good health,

AShley

> , I wanted to jump in here and ask since you are and herbalist if you

have any resources or anything to help me out. I was told yesterday about some

herbs to help me with a gallstone. I started taking them yesterday and so today

I am researching all I can on herbs to see what will help me. Just thought I'd

throw this out there and see if there's any info you can give me on this :)
