Hi Cammie,

I just got the update from the family down in Baton Rouge. As it

stands now my mom has a hole in her roof from a tree. She said they

have quite a bit of water damage. My brother's home is completely

underwater, and my other brother is still without power as of this

afternoon. He was without power for 2 weeks with Katrina. They are

running out of places to evacuate to. On a good note, my sister's

home has done well in the storm and is housing everyone until their

homes are liveable again. As far as my New Orleans relatives go,

they are all okay. They of course once again have water in some of

their homes, but at this point everything was damaged from Katrina,

so it really didn't matter. One of my relatives from New Orleans

bought a place near my mom's home in Baton Rouge which was flooded.

So, it just seems like one thing after another. Let's just hope this

is it so all those people down in Louisina can start rebuilding and

get on with their lives.
