Hi again,

After I wrote my last message, I did think of something else. I also

use a bite block to stretch my jaw. It's one of those rubber wedges

the dentists put in your mouth to hold it open while they work on

your teeth. I use the therabite to get as wide open as possible and

then I wedge the block in. I keep it in for at least 20-30 minutes

or as long as I can bear it and it really stretches out the muscles.

Mine is only a pediatric size 01 so I'm sure there are larger ones

that might work for you.

I also have a wooden clothespin that my surgeon gave me. He glued

two tongue depressors on either side lengthwise. I wedge it between

my molars to pry them open. When I'm able to open more, I can glue

more tongue depressors on to make it bigger.
