post op constipation?

Hey all! Fun post huh? Sorry for TMI, but this is why we are all here right?

So here's the story. I had surgery last Wednesday (upper/2-piece Leforte I). I

obviously did

not eat that day (though I did have a bowel movement that morning before

surgery). Surgery

went well (yea!) and I started eating liquids on Thursday. Ate full liquids on

Friday, was

discharged and had a bowel movement that day. Saturday and Sunday were not good

days, I

was very naseauted and vomited ALOT. It was a great time. My OS took me off my

Vicoden

and I have been great since.

Anyway, should I be worried that I have not had a bowel movement since Friday?

I didn't eat

alot Thursday or Friday, not at all over the weekend. I have eaten TONS

yesterday and today.

I just kinda realized tonight that it's been a while, and have started drinking

metamusil (ick).

I feel fine and yes, I have been passing gas. Obviously I will call my OS

tomorrow if it is still a

problem. Just thought I'd ask my friends here!
