Sara - Thank you for the support. Today was interesting, to say the

least. I got a one-week reprive on the spacers - I go back next Tuesday

for them. Today, I got both upper and lower brackets installed. It

wasn't painful at all, but now my brackets are trying to attach

themselves to the inside of my cheeks, which is rather annoying. I've

already put some wax on two of the offenders, but find I must open my

mouth to get the brackets to release the sides of my mouth. But, I'm

just really excited to finally start the process! I get the wires and

bands and ligatures/o-rings on in two weeks. I have an appointment with

my wonderful OMS next Wednesday and my list of questions is growing

longer with each passing day, but he seems to love the fact that I

bring them in. I'm getting used to the fact that I will probably be

having the LeFort, so I will need some more info from him about it

before I let him do it. He told me at my last appointment that he plans

to persuade me to let him do the LeFort if I decide that I don't want

it because he feels very strongly that I would benefit from the

procedure - I sure have a great Surgeon, one who cares so deeply for my

welfare. Anyway, thank you for your continued support. And, I took two

Naproxen this morning before I got to my OD's office. I will probably

do the same thing everytime I go there. The wine suggestion sounds

great!! ~~~~~ Diane
