Upper Jaw Surg Question

Hey all,

I am having upper jaw surgery, and I'm not even sure if there is a

technical name for it, or if anyone else here has had this procedure:

i am having the roof of my mouth split in three, and the palate

expanded. And I am also having the back of my upper gum/jaw area

taken out, and the roof of my mouth and jaw moved up. Anyway, I'm not

sure what a 'lefort' is, but maybe that is what I am having done...

Anyway, I had a question about all of the lower jaw and neck bruising

i see on some people's picture online. Like, a lot of people have

green necks... Is that related to the lower jaw surgeries?

And I am also having all 4 of my wisdom teeth taken out during the

same procedure. Anyone have a good idea of how long it would be

before i return to school? My surgery got moved back from Aug 8th, to

Aug 15, and now I have 1 week before school starts.
