Upcoming Surgery

HI everyone

In the summer i got surgery on my upper jaw. They advanced it 11.5

mm using a device which i had to adjust 1mm everyday for 2 weeks.

After the 2 weeks was up, my left side of my device of my left cheek

started rubbing against my left cheek and i had a bulge.My right

side was normal. They had two take me back to the hospital to remove

the rods on both sides (not the OR room). After waiting for anther

month i was again called in to remove my device. Since then i have

some noticeable swelling on my upper left and right cheek and the

cheeks under my nose looks like i have a tissue stuck on top of my

upper gums. I am aware that swelling takes time to heal, but i

wanted to know if anyone has a smiliar problem. I am feeling down

and i need help. How long will it take to completely be gone?

BTW-I am going again for my second surgery to push back my lower jaw

and advance my chin (i have a receding chin) has anyone got that and

how long does it take for the swelling to recede??
