Dear ,Bruce, Joyce and everyone else who replied,

Thanks so much for your imput! I think every two years is a reasonable recommendation and plan to talk to my pulmonologist about it. I do think more may be needed if there is a sudden change and think it is a valuable tool for diagnosis. It was interesting to note the vast differences between doctors- those who are extremely cautious about the extra radiation and schedule very few scans and those who are extremely cautious about changes in their patients and schedule frequent scans.
