braces after surgery

i've had braces for about 4 months after the surgery and it is annoying. i keep

on waiting(my orthadontist said i would be done in november but now he is saying

he wants to keep the braces on for 6 more months with no checkups).

i really dont understand why...it is frustrating. and oh yeah, i have been told

by others to not rush my orthadontist into finishing me early because then he

may do that and teeth will shift again.
