Thanks for your reply. I don't think I had mine widened much at all. I

will ask to see how much. I don't know what I will do if they have to

put it back in. I'll pray they don't. Three months seems like a life

time when 6 weeks to have that splint removed seemed like forever. The

movement in my upper and lower jaw was minimal, I didn't have an under

bite or over bite. So, I don't know why I had to wear that splint so

long. I was told by my ortho that when people don't wear them at all,

a lot of them relaspe and have to wear braces all over again. She said

she sees it all the time. So I'm glad now I had to wear the splint. So
