Thank YOU for the laugh! You'll have to make sure you get an itemized

bill from your OS, so you can tell if there is any " Drove me to

smoking " kind of charge on there!

Once you get that first appt at UNC, you're in! Then, I think you

could legitimately " drop in " as you've already established yourself

there. This first appt is the key appt to get the foot in the door,

heh heh. It's all about strategy! They won't be able to turn you

away. So, if you can just wait until the first " scheduled " appt, your

home free baby!!

Your husband must have his hands full.... I'm imagining you parked

at the front of UNC, maybe after driving by it a couple times,

calling him on your cell, " honey, I'm right here, don't you think I

could just pop in? If i told them I was willing to wait, couldn't

they squeeze me in? " I'm just teasing you.

I love the idea of both having the same OS... maybe they could have

at least interim patients to be seen by the wayside until one of us

comes a callin'. We don't want them bored and we have to keep their

minds sharp so they are primed to help US. We'd just have to have

First Class priority status. Doesn't sound too shabby.

As I was saying to Diane, I think it's a good idea that we're

geographically spread out, or we'd tax the local medical communities

with our impatient neediness! Glad I'm not alone in this!

I just thought of it. We've invented a whole new definition to the

term, " drive-by " . Ha ha.

Keep me posted about your appt! Obviously I can't wait to hear. I'll

just come down there I drive you to UNC myself. Maybe with the two of

us.... we're both pretty experienced in this new field of creating

instantaneous doctors appts for ourselves. And I was a medical

receptionist, so I know how to handle those women at the front desk.

I'll get them out of our way. Show us to the Surgeon now!!! HA HA.
