Guest guest Posted November 2, 2005 Report Share Posted November 2, 2005 Hello everyone I had my second surgery today it has been 2 weeks since my first. I got to the hospital around 11 and had surgery at 12, honestly im really not sure what all he did, I believe he took my plates and screws off and repositioned them. I do remember when I came back out of from being knocked out he did say I had a screw loose. I went home after the surgery I just did not want to stay overnight at all, I really dont feel to bad at all, i do have some pain here and there but its tolerable so far. I am all swelled up again and my lips are a mess again which sucks because i was healing nicely from the first one. I am wired shut right now which I really hate, my surgeon didnt want to take a chance on me pulling something loose again, but he said I would probably only be wired for one week then I dont know if I will get some bands or what. My bite looks really good now, seems like everything is fixed and aligned. im still upset I have to go through this again, my surgeon did not charge for going in again but I will have to pay another hospital bill, Im not sure how much I will owe when this is all said and done, but luckily insurance will take care of most.
