More tips.... CPAP mask cleaning

When I got my CPAP machine the technician (also a sleep apnea sufferer)

suggested using baby wipes to keep the mask clean. He recommended wiping it out

each morning so it would be ready for the following night. By wiping down the

mask you reduce the incidence of facial oil collection thereby lengthening the

life of the mask and also any acne that you might develop along the mask lines

on your face. I went one step further and bought the Oil of Olay facial wipes

(the anti-aging, of course) and have found I prefer them for their scent.

Another brand I like are the Ponds facial wipes. I really appreciated them when

I was in the hospital for my biopsy. It was nice having a refreshing wipe for

my face (made me feel so much cleaner).
