Guest guest Posted November 9, 2005 Report Posted November 9, 2005 Madison was up all night throwing up, she had a low grade temp of 101 but was shaking uncontrolably. she ke[t saying she was freezing. The odd part to all of this is it began only 1/2 hour after starting her TPN. Can this be related or just bad luck that they happened at the same time? I put in her warm clothes and put a sweater on over top then wrapped her in two blankets. She was still shaking. So I clibed into her bed in hope that my body heat would help but she said I was hurting her belly. Now I'm having the worst time trying to get her take the prevacid since thats PO becuase she refuses anything in her mouth. I used to be able to get her to eat ice chips but now she won't even take that. I feel like she gets worse everyday. She's so pale she matches her sheets. What can I do from home to help her untill she has the surgery she needs to correct these problems? Chrissyhomas Quote
