Update on Ian

Ian will continue with his surgery on Wednesday. He will be

admitted the night before (Tues)at 6 pm with an IV of D10. The

surgery being scheduled for 1 pm the next day. He will receive a

PEG placement for 6 weeks and then receive the Mic-Key button.

We are still in the appeals process with insurance for the overnight

stay - but, the physician and I are going ahead with the plan

anyway. If we pay for it - so be it. But, I'm not worried - I'll

make sure insurance does the " right " thing.

You probably won't hear from us for awhile. We are planning on

focusing on the boys all weekend (no laundry or cleaning needs to be

done - I'm all caught up!). Then, we plan to pick up gramma on

Monday. My dh has Monday off so we will be able to focus our

efforts on the boys that day as well. Tuesday we will be busy

getting packed and organized, getting gramma comfortable in her new

surroundings and then off to the hospital.
