I always said to Tim that I wasn't going to be able to lose weight and keep it off until I got my head screwed on right. Thank God for this surgery, because though I do still have some issues with the eating, etc., a lot of it has worked itself out along the way. Am I open to going for more therapy? Sure, at some point. I have so many things stored up on the shelf in a closet in my head with the door bolted closed that someday its all going to come tumbling out. However, for right now, the door's hinges are holding strong. : ) Also, you can look at the fact that there are over 3,000 of us on this list, could just be a matter of statistics of why it seems so many of us have sought psychiatric help.
