follow up with surgeon

Hi,

I am 14 days post op from a lower jaw advancement. I had my follow up

with the surgeon yesterday. Undortunately my openning was only 20 mm

(it had to be at least 30 to get the splint out). So I am stuck with

it for 2 more weeks. I only have minimal swelling now and only have

to wear the bands at night though, PROGRESS AT LAST! I can now

honestly say that I am glad I went through this, my jaw profile looks

awesome!

I went back to work today, everything went great (minor teasing over

my lisp). However I am still totally numb from the lip down to my

chin. My surgeon sent me to pysiotherapy for the next 4 weeks, anyone

else need to go to pysio?
