Hi,

I'm five months post-op, I was able to talk at a week post op but no one could

understand me and I wasn't comfortable enough to talk. I saw my speech therapist

3 days after surgery because I was having problems swallowing so my surgeon

asked the speech therapist to help. I have seen her again since surgery, but I

had additional speech problems before the surgery and I also have a hole in my

palate which is making my speech worse.
