Hey to all those parents who's children have feeding tubes, today we went to

see Maddy's surgeon. Her J tube looks nasty because the formula keeps

clogging up the tube even tho we flush it every time we disconnect her or push

meds. The suregon said no matter how often you flush this can still happen. The

best way to clean and clear the line is flushing it with soda ( or diet soda

for those with hyperglycemia) twice a day. Of course today we did it and Maddy

threw up everywhere but we hope that after a few days of this her belly will

adjust.
