Jammie, I hope you can check emails while you are on holidays.

There are so many great restaurants around here, as well as fun

local places to buy GF products.

San is my area...some of the others can probably shed light on

the city and Santa Cruz better than I.

There is a PF Changs in South San - in Oakridge Mall. There is

also a Cheesecake Cafe in the same mall (and one at Valley Fair in

Santa Clara-but I find the first a bit more knowledgeable) and I

have had very good luck there, as well. There are three local Whole

Food Stores - one in Los Gatos (off the 17 or 85 Highways), one in

(off the 17) and on in Cupertino (off the 85, near the 280)

While you are here be sure to pick up a Crave product. They have the

most amazing brownies and choco cake...makes my mouth water just

thinking about it!

If you are in Gilroy (at the outlets) there is a place I really

recommend called Ginger Cafe. Talk to Bo and he can whip you up

something special and make sure it's safe. They really know about GF

because I work about 5 mins away.

Mimi's Cafe is another great option. I know of two locations, but

there have to be more. Gilroy @ 10th St and Westgate Mall.

I'll keep thinking and will post more.
