We had a CST practitioner in town that is also a pediatrician. So I decided to

go to her - thinking it wouldn't make things worse. We also started PT during

the same time and began vigorous repositioning. I didn't notice a change in the

head shape, but I did notice a change in the torticollis, but because we did so

much during that time I can't say it was any one particular thing. He did seem

to enjoy the sessions and I noticed a difference in his affect. He seemed more

calm the rest of the day after a session. But by the time he was 5 months, we

decided we didn't see a big enough change after all we had done and opted for

the helmet. Our thought was " when he is a teen, how can we honestly tell him we

tried everything except the common treatment. " We did notice a difference with

the helmet in just 2 weeks. Course we also bougt a different mattress - organic

memory form. To this day I am glad I did everything. His head still isn't

perfectly round, but it is better than it had been and it isn't as noticeable. If

you know what you are looking for it is noticeable, but if you don't no one can

see it.

Sorry I can't be more helpful. I'm sure you will make the best decision you can.
