Hi ,

I don't have the condition you describe, but did have a condition

which developed from an early age or birth (lower jaw retrognathic

or receded, upper jaw long, strong chin). I had my surgery 3 years

ago (upper/lower/genio) at the young age of 47

You've gotten the wrong impression about members here, though. It's

rare to have a member here who has had an accident and required this

surgery. Most of us choose to have the surgery.

is correct, no accident here, just trying to fix a sleeping

problem due to recessed jaw closing off my air passage when I sleep.
