The letter was not FROM Beth wundedbird! She posted a letter she came across

on another list.

I do not want to get into a debate about this but felt compelled to

write to you and this group to express my opinion.

I think that this group is just the place for wunded bird's letter.

Here it is taken into consideration by well informed people that most

appreciate her honesty. I understand fully that there are risks with

this surgery. So, therefore, hearing from someone with these kinds of

problems gives me some insight to possible remedies or treatment. I

would think twice about something as serious as surgery if it was

perceived as risk free. We all know that a risk free surgery is

ridiculous so therefore where better to hear from patients with

complications than here.

Of course, we all try to not defame anyone's character so please let's

not insult anyone that could possibly be a tremendous help to us. I do

not believe that the letter was written for any purpose but educational

and a way to vent.

Unless there is another letter, I thought she used tact in her writings.

I feel she deserves atleast our respect for her willingness to share

with us her story.
