Digestive enzymes

If I forget to give digestive enzymes right at the beginning of the meal, is it

useless to give it part way through? I forget fairly frequently. Usually, it's

after he's had a bannana, bowl of yogurt, ect. that I realize I forgot to give

the enzyme. I've thought about giving it part way through his meal once I

realize the mistake, but don't want to waste it if it won't do any good at that

point.
