I totally agree with everything you wrote!

I have said it before, I wish Beth had started that other email list!

I mean, she has a very important first hand account to tell but it

gets buried in all the hate mail on the UN-Truth site.

I am glad she still posts over here. And I guess it can't be easy

for her to see so many of us post-ops doing so well. I am not sure I

could read all the happy/sappy emails day in and day out and keep my

frustration in check like she has. I equate her situation to what I

went through when I lost my baby. I had made friends with lots of

other Mommies to Be. When my child was stillborn, I felt like I did

not fit in anywhere. I was a Mom but I was not a Mom. They were all

happy and I was devastated. I turned to a support group. One with

couples who had the same experience I had. It was a life saver for

me.

I want that same thing for Beth. Stats say that at least 3% will be

unhappy. That means, at present MGB rates, there could be 20 - 30

people who have less than perfect results. I have only read posts

from 3.

If there are more struggling post ops, perhaps they do not feel

comfortable posting anywhere. This list is upbeat and full of

wonder, happiness and excitement, much like the Mommies To Be group

was.

When you are feeling afraid and ill that might be the last place you

would want to be! However, the Un-Truth list is full of extreme

anger, insensitive putdowns and humiliating name calling. Most

people don't feel comfortable being associated with such an extreme

group.

Beth, Please think of maybe starting your own list. One where you

can nurture and inform people. One where even " happy " post ops can

feel free to post when they have a problem or question i.e. hair loss

and dumping.

The list that created will always have her personality.

EXTREME

and even violent in nature. And it will attract those types of

posters. I even saw where a long time friend of 's was

repeatedly posting that they wished another poster would die! That

form of venom gets posted there over and over again. You deserve

better and so do others in your situation.
