Guest guest
Two things: First, if you like your garlic mozzarella cheese bread softer, you can put the butter, garlic powder, Italian seasoning and cheese on the frozen pizza crust at the same time and put in oven for about 10 minutes until cheese is melted. I like my bread a little crispier, so I brown the pizza crust first with the seasonings on it, then put cheese on it to melt. Second, here is the Hidden Valley ranch dressing recipe made from scratch! It is so easy and does not have any of the preservatives in regular dressing. I usually double the below recipe and it only takes a minute to make it! Hidden Valley Dressing: 1/2 c. mayonnaise 1/2 c. buttermilk 1/2 t. dried parsley flakes 1/4 t. black pepper 1/4 t. salt 1/8 t. garlic powder 1/8 t. onion powder Pinch dried thyme Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl and whisk until smooth. Cover and chill for several hours before using. Take one Kinnikinnick frozen pizza crust and rub butter over the top and bottom of the crust. Sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning. Cut into 4 long slices and place on foil on cookie sheet. Bake for about 7-10 minutes until light brown on top and bottom. Take out of oven and pile high with mozzarella cheese and return to oven until cheese is melted and bubbly. Dip garlic bread sticks into ranch dressing. It was absolutely delicious. Gosh, I remember " real " garlic melted cheese bread when we could eat it, and this came really darn close! > > I have a really good homemade ranch dressing that is easy to make if anyone wants it. > > Enjoy! > > Sue >
