Guest guest
I hope that the e-mail exchange below will come through in this e-mail to all of you. I wrote Hard Rock Cafe regarding what g-f items are available in their restaurant in London (we are traveling there in May). Hard Rock Cafe e-mailed back listing the same items they say are g-f in the US. I questioned them regarding their spring rolls and potato skins because they are probably fried in oil. They e-mailed back again saying I should avoid fried foods. The good news is that they are reviewing their gluten free menu items. Bad news is that I have seen these same 7 items on other celiac sites as being definitely gluten-free. Sue From: customer_care@... [iNTR:294803] Dear , Thank you for contacting Customer Care and for your inquiry. After further review with our food and beverage team they would recommend avoiding fried foods. We are in the process of coming up with a comprehensive review of our gluten free menu. Please feel free to contact us again if we may be of any help to you in the future. I am presuming that the spring rolls and potato skins (if they were fried in oil) were fried in oil that no flour products were fried in? Sorry - I'm sure you get hounded all the time on the gluten-free thing.......... Sue From: customer_care@... [iNTR:294803] Date : Wed, 29 Mar 2006 16:18:10 GMT I had heard that you offered a few gluten-free items on your menu. Could you tell us what they are? Also, would they be the same in your London location? Thanks so much.
