Wild Oats is now out of stock of Nice Rice until sometime in October, and the three stores that are within 90 miles of me are completely out now (I have to travel an hour and a half each way to get to Wild Oats). As far as I knew, it was the only rice milk that could drink due to all of his other allergies. My mother happened to be in California with my aunt (my aunt is undergoing chemo treatments), so she said she would go to Trader Joe's for me to buy a case of rice milk. When she got to LAX yesterday, they opened the case of rice milk, took every tetrapak out, and then made her drink from one of the tetrapaks. They wanted to make sure that it wasn't some kind of chemical or biological weapon. So, anyway, she had to throw away that container because it would have had to sit in the luggage compartment of the plane for hours, unrefridgerated. Now I have a big box of Trader Joe's Fat Free Rice Um with Southwest Airlines stickers all over it. I thought it was funny, had to share.
