We have been seeing Dr Goldberg (

www.neuroimmunedr.com and www.nids.net) after a plateau with the DAN

protocol. Dr G had us remove ALL SUPPLEMENTS as they ran out with the

belief my son's body was being suppressed from balancing since it was

supplemented with adequate amounts of various substances. He told us what

the initial blood tests would reveal, and what to expect over the next

months. So far, he has been almost 100%, with blood tests continuing to

show improvement. His allergic reactions to horses are virtually gone.

After a short regression, the improvements have been significant. He

communicates verbally, which was non existent before. Plus his OT is

suggesting decrease in service due to improvements. All teachers and

service providers agree he is a brighter and more alert child, no longer

functioning in 5-10 second delay.

We still do the diet. YMMV, but this seems to be effective for late onset

autism, more so than congenital problems (IMHO)
