Mark - Sorry, I am very beind on email. But yes, this would be

different - you say there were no " detectable amounts " . That I can

agree with. The question is, what was the level at which they attempted

to detect the mercury? Unscrupulous companies will use tests with high

detection thresholds, and then tell us that there is no mercury. If you

don't know to look, you don't realize that they only tested down to

3ppm. (Did somone say " Carleson's " ?)

So, the real question here is, what was their detection limit? Most

labs in the US only test down to ppms. The fish oil companies that test

down to ppbs, and whose results I've seen, all send their samples to

labs in Europe.

Dave.

Actually Dave, there were no detectable amounts. I saw the report with

my own eyes, it was done by a very reputable, independent lab. This is

as mercury free as today's technology allows us to detect. There are

methods of purification that allows for this as long as the source is as

clean as possible. Dr. Nigel Plummer is the head of Pharmax and I will

see if I can get any additional information from him on thie subject and

post it here.

I've seen the toxicology report on Pharmax and it contains no mercury.

Dave,

They looked at their products at ppb. This company is based in the UK and

they operate under different thought processes than some companies in the

US. They send their samples to independent labs in Europe and the US to

get a more honest view of their products. I know of a few companies in the

US that are undergoing expensive clinical trials for their products as well

as the independent testing. There are some companies that prey on the

autistic community that have some of their products made in their

" backyards " and are totally unable to verify what is in their products

(electrolytes).
