Guest guest
Some of you may remember a to-do a few years ago when Mc's admitted they were using beef flavoring in their cooking oil after having said they were not. This was quite distressing to vegetarians. I don't remember if they used the flavoring in all parts of the world, and I haven't done a search for the details. I'm going only by memory; I know I have the larger outline, but I'm not sure I remember all the aspects correctly. H. I truly believe they tried their best over the years to accommodate allergies (by putting nuts into packages, etc.). I don't think they knew about the flavoring in the oil until the new labeling law came into effect, so who can be mad at them? I am now concerned about other oil that could be used in restaurants that we think is gluten-free. I believe In/Out said their oil was pure oil without flavoring. I'm thinking more along the lines of other restaurants - like Chipotles, Taco Del Mar, etc. that have gluten-free food we can eat. Makes me think what kind of oil their products are fried in. Sure adds another concern as we try to eat out like normal people. Sue
