Guest guest
> Allie is vomitting green vomit again for the first time in months. I am giving her a regular regimen daily of Kirkman's Zinc (20mg), Zinc on an empty stomach is a common cause of nausea and vomiting. >>Kirkman powder Calcium (1000mg), Calcium without magnesium won't be very well absorbed, altho I don't know if it would cause vomiting. >>Kirkman SNT (1/2t.), SNT commonly causes problems for phenol sensitive kids. >>and Peptizyde (without rice, she has a rice allergy). If this is new and she is eating gluten/casein, Peptizyde can cause vomiting during the initial 3 week adjustment period. > One other thing to mention is she does have mild wheat gluten IgG, so is it possible the enzymes are making her ill? Gluten IgG would not mean the *enzymes* are making her ill, but if she is eating wheat and using Peptizyde, then that might make her ill. Guest guest
Anyone think one of these is the culprit? I gave my ds zinc when he hadn't eaten enough for breakfast and he vommited at school a couple hrs later.

Guest guest
Thanks, everyone. I have decided that Allie is super-sensitive to mucos from nasal drainage. Every time she has vomitting she always has a runny nose, and that would also explain the green, mucosy vomit. She has significant food aversions, so I'm sure snotty noses would set off vomitting, as I've been sickened by it over the years. Seems a good vaporizor going in her room has helped more than anything. I'll be sure to never give her zinc on an empty stomach to make sure that's not an issue. I'm also working on getting mag in her without giving her diarrhea, thanks for the suggestion on that with calcium. So important to get it all working together!
