Guest guest Posted November 20, 2006 Report Posted November 20, 2006 Hi everyone I'm new! I have a 4 almost 5 yr old son that has autisum. He has been gf/cf for almost 8 mo, we are now ready to start the scd diet. I have however ran into a road block! He was prescribed Nystatin from his DAN doc, He took it for 2 weeks and seemed to be working until he began vomiting and having terrible diarrhea. I stopped giving the nystatin. But, now the only foods he will eat is rice based or fructose, and I am not sure what to do.I understand it the yeast feeing foods. I need help!! I am going to order the books listed on the site and begin to go slow and easy. I also need advice on starting new multi vitamins. His dan gave him a multi that I make a shake out of. He hates it. Is there a multi that is a chewable that is OK to give while on SCD diet any help would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank you Blessings,Christy Mom of Tristen Quote
