Thank you all for your response.

I am wondering if I should see a specialist in CST or its just okay to continue with my PT who said she will do some CST too.

Also, I would like to know about Osteopathy? Do I have to get a referral from my PED to see a specilaist in Osteopathy? Has it been proven to improve tort ? Any information will be very helpful.

Thanks

Chanda

I did CST for my daughter when she was about 6 months for her tort and reflux. i did it because i had CST for neck and back injuries that i had sustained after a car accident many years ago and it basically saved my life! i had PT first which did nothing, and the cst worked miracles. so i brought my daughter to CST for her tort. it was great. actually, her reflux went completely away in a week after starting cst. i am not kidding. she used to vomit all day and after a week of CST she basically stopped vomiting altogether. it helped her tort too, although PT was still necessary. the two work in conjunction. do not be afraid. it is very gentle and you can ask the therapist to explain to you the way it works--it may not make any sense to you because it sounds crazy but really, it does work. you are right that your ped will know nothing about it. they usually don't. rest assured that it is safe and gentle and that

it does work. you can even ask the cst therapust to do a session on you. you will see how amazing it is. good luck.elissa> >> > I really think that this therapy has some merit to it.
