Dear

Colleagues,

I

am pleased to announce that the documentary “The Other Side of

Immigration” which we will be presenting at the upcoming Midwest Migrant

Stream Forum is now also available on I-Tunes….please see below for additional

information.

This

is an excellent tool for community education and training about the impact of

trans border migration on communities left behind in Mexico…I hope you

will either join us for a viewing here in Austin at the Forum, or make

arrangements to obtain your own copy of this excellent tool.

Please

let me know if you have any questions about the film.

Dear

Friends:

I’m

excited to announce that iTunes is now selling downloads

of my documentary film,The Other Side of Immigration, for as low as $3.99!

Please buy a copy from iTunes today. The more people who buy the film today, the more likely The Other

Side of Immigration will climb the charts and be recommended to other iTunes users.

I hope we can get the film’s nonpartisan message of empathy and

understanding into as many homes as possible before the midterm elections.

So

please log in to iTunes and purchase a copy today, and encourage your friends

to do the same!

Check

out www.TheOtherSideOfImmigration.com to learn about the many

ways you can see this film. DVDs hit stores on Oct. 26. The DVD comes packaged

in a collectible (and eco-friendly) cardboard case, and includes a full

director’s commentary and other special features. Educators: please make sure

to purchase a DVD that has been licensed for

college/university use.

I will

be back on the road again soon, with plans to present and discuss the film in

Geneva, NY (Oct. 14), Ithaca, NY (Oct. 15), Tempe, AZ (Nov. 17), Glendale, AZ

(Nov. 18), and Houston, TX (Dec. 4). These screenings are free and open to the

public. Details at TheOtherSideOfImmigration.com.

Seeing

the film distributed is a dream come true: I began working on The

Other Side of Immigration nearly three years ago without funding, a crew, or prior

filmmaking experience. Thanks to all of you for believing in this project and

supporting my work every step of the way. Thanks also to Team

Love Records and Conor Oberst for distributing the film and bringing the

insights of the people I met in Mexico to the American public.

Sincerely,

Roy

Germano, Ph.D.

Director, The

Other Side of Immigration
