A " normal " head should be 2/3 longer than it is wide. So there's

really no " normal " number for width and length because each child's

head is different in size. From what I've read on this board over

the last year, most parents and orthos try to get somewhere near 85%-

87% for cephalic ratio. Every ortho's view point is different though

too. No person's head is perfect, so I think the main goal with

brachy is to get the head to grow so that it is at least longer than

it is wide.
