Guest guest
Hello to all. I don't post much these days but rest assured, I do try to read each and every post. Just gets so difficult sometimes when there are so many posts and life gets in the way. I wanted to wish each and everyone of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR!! what I wanted to post was in response to Kathy's post: " Luigi, I e-mailed the guy Tim on the vaccination. I have signed up for the study which may or may not happen. I am scared of it to be honest as they faxed me alot of papers and you pretty much sign all rights away as i understand rightfully so. I would like to wait and see what the end of the year brings with this Toxavin. There are 150 people across the country in clinical trials now. You can see if they are in your area. You must have RRMS and have a diagnosis of no longer than 10 years on paper. There must be no steroids or CRABS in your body for 60 days. It is interesting and provides some hope. I am hoping it turns out to be something very wonderful for ms. Let's just pray it works and is safe. I am getting another MRI next week to see if there is any evidence of lesions. My appointment with the doctor is February 21st. i will keep you all posted. Best, Kathy oh the study is in Pompano Beach Florida but there is also one in Sarasota, Florida plus some other locations. " I've read about this vaccination thing for a few years now and was wondering just what gives with it too? What I really wanted to mention to you Kathy and to the whole group is that I got wind of something very interesting that I was not really aware of but there are those that have done it already and seem to think it really works. It's called Esperanza Peptide and you can read more about it over at http://www.esperanzapeptide.net There are some chatting about it over at the www.goodshape.net site. I'm not at all sure about this but I just thought it was something that should at least be on all of our radar screens right now. As long as I'm here, I should report that it'll be 5 years for me with the LDN come this May and although I have not had one MS episode in that time and lead a very normal life here, I do think that there has been some progression in my MS in that it does not take as long for my walking to turn my legs rubbery and I must sit and my balance seems worse then when I started but for the most part, I love LDN and think it's the best thing we MSer's (and others) have going. Guest guest
I was on those same two antibiotics. Being on long term antibiotics you are very likely to get a yeast infection. I don't think just taking probiotics is enough to counteract the antibiotics. Does your dr also have you on an antifungal such as Diflucan or Nystatin? I took both of those at different times and also took 2 different probiotics and totally quit eating all sweets including natural sweetners and fruit as well as being gluten free, yeast free and limiting carbs. I still got a yeast infection. I dont know if the abbreviation is AB or ABX, I am just so confused right now, but it has taking me about 15 plus years to get here and I keep getting sicker with new medical prblems and everyone tells me that its probably all from the lyme..............I just want to give up right now. I am scared of getting yeast infections and thrush, never had them before so ZI am taking heavy duty probiotics 2x a day. I am just looking to hear what anyone has to say. Thanks, Myra in NH
Guest guest
Sorry I thought you were on long term antibiotics. I know you can get a yeast infection from one round of antibiotics. I don't know if taking probiotics would be enough prevent it or not. ________________________________ From: " JPMyra@... What do you think about the 'just 7 days.' I am on day 3 now. Myra Switch to: Text-Only, Daily Digest • Unsubscribe • Terms of Use ..
