I am looking for low literacy 330 governance materials in Spanish

to help our health centers orient new farmworker members. I am also seeking

suggestions for what type of simultaneous translation equipment may be best for

health center boards to use with non English speakers. If you are award

of anything, please let me know. Thank you.

Hi ,

Do you have any relationships

with Migrant and Seasonal Head Start programs in your area? We were involved

in the Policy Council for the Tri-Valley Opportunity Council MSHS program and they

do an amazing job of bringing in farmworker parents, even those who migrate,

and holding really effective bilingual meetings. The Policy Council is

not a Board of Directors, but it has lots of similarities, including regular

elections, a governing body, etc. I would contact your nearest RCMA

to see if they have some resources you could use.
