Guest guest
Since some people have been discussing sign language resources I thought that I would throw this out there in case someone else in the suburban Philadelphia area could benefit from it. We have a private ASL teacher come to our home each week to work with Ethan. She is a hearing woman who has several years experience working with children who have special needs including deaf children and children with apraxia and autism. She has a Masters's degree in Deaf Education and is also trained and experienced in PECS, Floortime, ABA and VB. Her fees are very reasonable, and as I mentioned she travels to you. Because Ethan is only 2 she teaches him by playing with him while signing. He likes it and it really jump started his interest. Now he enjoys his Signing Time videos all the more. I have found that watching her has also been a more effective way for me to learn. There's just something about live instruction by someone who is fluent that is especially effective. Anyway, her name is Brittany Moss and she can be reached at BrittanyMoss@... or 267-992-7240. She has a website at www.LearnASLNow.com. Hope this helps someone, Nadine
