Landau Kleffner syndrome

Hello everyone,

A friend's son had a loss of language at 1 year of age after being admitted in

d hospital for diarrhoea at age 1. He had about 10 - 20 words before then, he is

2 years 9 months now and is non-verbal. He had an EEG which showed abnormal

brain waves, the doctor said he might v Landau Kleffner's syndrome. Does anybody

have any experience with this diagnosis or any suggestions.Is biomed going to be

helpful? Read dat language loss in Landau Kleffner occurs btw 3 and 7 years but

he lost his at 1 year, is it possible there's a misdiagnosis or something.

Please help any suggestions, ideas will b appreciated. Thanks.
