Parents in CA - Support and vote YES to Prop 37!

Hi All! This is OT, but VERY important as the election approaches! As a parent

of a recovered autistic child (after nine hard years, thanks Stan for the help

in the early years!), I am really concerned about GMO. We need to help

California pass prop 37, the bill that will require GMO (genetically modified

organisms) ingredients to be labeled on all foods! Do we not have the right to

know WHAT is in our food? We have been guniea pigs for too long, and it is crime

that Amercians are being lied to. Over 60 other countries require mandatory

labeling of GMO ingredients, so WHY doesn't America? Monsanto, Pepsi

Corporation, and many other large companies have spent close to $40 million to

stop prop 37 from passing, so we NEED YOUR HELP! If prop 37 passes when

California votes next week, then other states will be able to pass similar

legislation to label GMO's...hopefully the first important step in the fight

against GMO in our food and grocery stores.

What are GMO's? Basically scientists are taking the genes from one species and

forcing them into the DNA of another species. Things like forcing human genes

into corn to create spermacide have been done! Cow genes into pigs, fish genes

into tomatoes to make them bigger and not go bad, much bigger, fatter chickens,

and many more horrifying science experiments with HUMANS being the inevitable

guinea pig! GMO's have never been tested for long term health issues, and when

people shop at the grocery store they have no idea what they are eating because

labeling is not required! How is that possible?
