As far as I know, it's a genetic test. You would need to see a geneticist. A lot

of other mutations seem to result in autism, though. Not just fragile X. My

daughter with autism has mutations for Rett syndrome (MECP2 gene) and Juvenile

Parkinsons (PARK2 gene.
