Culturelle - side effects?

Hi

I gave my 2.5 year old son 1 sachet of Cuturelle (Lactobacillus GG) probiotic,

on the empty stomach today morning.

Since then he is uncontrollably crying with pain and releasing lots of gas

through his mouth (which he has never done before). Also we have noticed some

small red spots on his legs, arms and ears.

Its more than 6 hrs now since we gave him the sachet but he is still crying.

We are totally clueless on what's going on. If you have some idea, please let me

know what's this and what we should do to provide immediate relief to him.
