If you could get out of Bronx on little east side then Barnard School in New Rochelle has a very good reputation.If you decide to stay in Bronx, fight for services. Bloomberg has messed it up a pretty big time.

I highly recommend you do not move to the Bronx. The suburbs are full of

families that fled the city schools after wasting too much time suing the

district and their kids still getting an unacceptable placement and services.
