muscle spasms

My son started about 2 weeks ago to have what appears to be muscle spasms happening constantly on his left arm and left leg. It is not seizures or tics. We had an eeg done and it showed no seizure activity. I am starting to wonder if it is Lyme althoug our ped says no since he was tested twice in the past and it came back negative BUT I am thinking we might go to Lyme Literate doc... Has anyone else ever incountered something like this? My son is unaware it is happening. Sometimes it seems to be worse then others..... Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!!
