We stopped the DAN protocol a year ago and moved into homeopathy. They use very few orthomolecular supplements in addition to the homeopathic remedy. I know this kind of vit c can help to excrete copper and copper and candida come together, so I didn't know if this could cause a healing reaction. Everything I search online says take A.P. C (acerola). At 6 capsules he was doing great. Then I tried to increase to 8 capsules and after a couple of days, he had the most horrible regression. Our other Dr. (bioset / Yasko litterate) then told us that if you hit a certain threshold, you can trigger a big metal dump. It took 2 weeks for my son to recover from that. We are back at 6 capsules and he is doing fine. Like you, I couldn't find anything about it on the internet, except for people with cancer who receive vit. C via IV. Good to know. I wondered about the possible copper dump as a result. He has had only a low grade fever. He JUST got over the flu with a terribly high fever and he recovered nicely, and usually the body is in a healthier state after a bout of illness bc the inflammatory process cleanses the system and you are in a better place than when you first become I'll. This is why I questioned this fever after he JUST recovered. Interesting..... Is the acerola fat or water soluble?
