The starting place for this research is the National Agricultural Worker

Survey, conducted by the US Department of Labor. These data are available

both nationally and regionally from DOL.

Hi,

Can anyone point me to a resource with information on residency patterns

for Latinos?

I'm specifically looking for those folks who are working in jobs that may

take them to different locations (traditional migrant) at different times

of the year.

Also, many folks return to their home or country of origin for extended

periods of time - several months.

Is there any literature that gives stats on this particular group of

people as related to health care?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hola:

¿Me pudiera ayudar alguien conseguir datos para personas Latinas /

hispanas que no son residentes temporarios? Estoy buscando

información sobre personas que siguen el trabajo y personas que se van a

su país de origen por meses.

Estoy interesada en los datos acerca la salud.

¡Gracias!

In terms of California,

there is migration from Mexico

to Washington State.  I’m located in Northern California where migration begins in February

and goes on through November.  Housing for migrant farm workers in Humboldt is none

and recent housing efforts for farm workers in Del Norte county was undermined

by the county.
