Hi , yes I had the tp-ict last November 16the and am so glad I

did. It was a long hard surgery with a long hospital stay, but within

6 weeks I felt better then I had in years and by week 12 I was back in

the gym. I had a little issue iwht an internal stich that did not

heal, unfortunetly, that I kind of ignored and hoped would go away but

has turned out to be a sizeable hernia nd I will need to have it

repaired next week. Its really a piece of cake, I am just a big baby

when it comes to surgery.

I think by the time you are ready for your next year of school you will

feel like you are reborn. June 10 is a good time and dont get yourself

all stressed out about it. Its not an easy procedure by any means, but

from that date on you will have 2 birthdays a year. I do, the day I

was born and Nov.16th. The day I was reborn.

Thanks so much for the advice. I am really scared and i am trying so hard not

to think about it, but that is even harder since it is a huge procedure. Did

you ever have any doubts about if this is the right surgery for you or not? Can

you tell me a little about your experience with the surgery if you don't mind.

I sincerely hope that i get to experience two b-days like you do. Oh yeah also

before this surgery had you had any previous surgeries to your pancreas? This

is something I am worried about. Since some of my pancreas is removed there is

the worry about getting enough islet cells. Thanks for you advice. Thanks so
