Guest guest Posted September 24, 2006 Report Posted September 24, 2006 hi , I also have a medical background, though not specifically in metabolism as yours is - and I am humbled, and sad, about my terrible ignorance regarding fatty acid metabolism, the role of Vitamin E, etc etc etc. I was wondering, for any of us who are interested in trying to pick up the scientific background, if there are any books (for lay persons or healthcare types) to start us off understanding this (hope you don't say Stryer, that's the one I remember. But maybe that is what it takes!) Also, any articles like basic review articles that might be available as online full text - anything like that. And thank you, thank you, for your contributions here. We are just starting my tiny 2 year old on proEfa, thinking we see a difference in a week. Sara Quote
