Guest guest
Hi Group, Thanks for you input & Christy. Yes, just 5 lbs. makes a difference on short people! I'm on 30mg. of prednisone and retaining water like crazy, so that doesn' help either. Guess I'm worried as next week is Bridal Shower for my son's fiance, and Oct.20th is the wedding.Already purchased clothes for both months ago, and boy are these dresses getting tight....I may look pretty lumpy, but am determined to wear them!!!! I am going to do as much excersise as I can with weights and stretching. The nerves in my feet and legs aren't working right so they aren't stimulating the muscles in my legs. There are days when I can't walk very much, but I figure slow stretches and slow reps with light weights will at least keep the muscles functioning, and I think I can handle it if I go slow. I do some range of motion type excersises in our hot tub and it makes me feel better. Don't think I'd try water aerobics as cold water makes the feet and legs too crampy.Too bad that tub isn't Olympic size!! Have a good Labor Day Midge
